Each month, Tony Young, Project Manager for the Specialist Projects Department, will choose who he feels is the best performing Working Foreman for that period.
The criteria for the award is their performance in regards to Health & Safety, Site cleanliness, Progress, Quality Management, Cost Management, Site paperwork and presentation.

Gary David |
Garry David has been awarded Working Foreman of the Month in recognition of his efforts on the Britannia Robbins fire in Swansea, Project No: M876. Of particular note was his organisation of the sub-contractors on the site.
His co-ordination of the roofing contractors regarding the opening up and renewal of the main roof, avoiding further damage to the occupied offices and workshops.
The co-ordination of the mechanical and electrical sub-contractors on site, he arranged access with the unit’s three occupants, Britannia Robbins, Unilift and SMART motorcycle training centre to access the internal work areas.
Also recognised is Garry’s skill in co-ordinating his own scheduled works in these fully operational units causing minimum disruption to the occupants.

Paul Proudfoot |
Paul has been awarded Site Foreman of the month in recognition of his efforts on the Nolan uPVC factory fire in Carmarthen, Project No: M864.
Of particular note was his organisation of the sub-contractors on site, the coordination of the Clients’ own mechanical and electrical sub-contractors and his liaison with the factory’s management team on a daily basis.
Also recognised is Paul’s skill in coordinating all of these works in a fully operational factory without any loss to Nolan’s window production and all works have been completed to a very high standard.

Paul has been awarded this for his work at Parkfield House, North Road, Cardiff. His on-site organisation has been excellent and he has a full understanding of a complicated Schedule of Work. Paul’s housekeeping has been exemplary and the site set-up he has created in the undercroft car park is also worthy of a mention.

Gareth has been awarded this for his work at 27 Squirrel Walk, Pontardulais, Swansea. He has organised the many trades required very well and has had an excellent report back from a very particular client.

Martin Vrac |
Martin has been awarded this for his work at St Mellons Golf Club, Cardiff. He has been on the project from start to completion and has worked well with the Committee. The work was finished to a very high standard prompting a letter from the Captain himself, commenting on the “successful completion of the reparation work”.

Tony Elliott has been awarded this for his work at 6 Afon Gardens, Caerleon. Tony started off the project and from the very start, he pushed the works forward ahead of programme, he kept the client fully informed and we have received very positive feedback from the Client.
