Leading Welsh construction company Jehu Project Services has appointed Nick Chandler as its new business management executive.

Mr Chandler has been brought into the new role with the task of raising the profile of Jehu and to assist with the marketing of the business. He brings with him a wealth of experience after 40 years in the industry with 25 of those years at Managing Director level.

He said: “My aim at Jehu is to generate a host of new potential enquiries, to broaden the client base and enhance the already good relationships with professional practices. Hopefully this will open up new avenues of business prospects. “There is a great momentum within the company, which is fuelled by an excellent work ethos. My priority is to continue to develop and grow the business potential throughout South and West Wales.”

Jehu was founded more than 70 years ago by Jack Jehu and is now one of Wales’ largest independently owned construction companies. The company has offices in Bridgend and Haverfordwest and employs more than 80 staff. Jehu has experience in both the public and private sector including commercial and industrial, healthcare and education, residential as well as in retail and leisure. Mr Chandler joins Jehu after eight years as Managing Director at Stradform and 20 years at constructors Tern. His business development expertise was an integral part of the growth of both companies.
